The Surprising Side of Real Estate No One Prepares You For

Dear Realtor,

Yesterday in Kiserian, I was out showing land to a new client. Little did I know that the day will take a turn I didn’t see coming. On the way back, my client started feeling unwell and needed urgent attention.

We had to make an unexpected stop. In a town I haven’t been before. I found myself walking around scanning signboards for a good clinic. Once I located one, I rushed back, picked my client from the car, and got them to the clinic. They spoke to the nurses and waited with my fingers crossed as they got checked. I tried to look calm, but inside I was worried about how serious it could be.

After what felt like forever, I finally exhaled when the nurse came and re assured me that the client will be fine. We stayed there for like an hour, then I made sure my client got home safely. And even today I’ll be checking in on them.

That experience reminded me: we can prepare for paperwork, negotiations, and tough client questions—but not for life’s surprises. And yet, these are the moments that shape how we handle this business.

These kinds of challenges are exactly what we share in our continued meetups—real situations agents face, and the solutions we can learn from each other.

One recurring challenge that keeps surfacing is social media. Agents know they should be visible online, but the “how” is where it gets tricky:

  • Which platforms are worth your time?
  • What content actually works?
  • How do you stay consistent?

That’s why today’s discussions are a must attend. We shall discuss these struggles and find practical answers:
